Dorothy Luretha, Elizabeth Mitchell - Calip, 79, passed on December 26, 2020. She was born to Fletcher Mitchell and Annie Pearl Daily in Evergreen, Alabama on March 16, 1941.

She married Lawrence Calip Sr. in 1958 and they lived together in Round Rock, Texas. Together they raised 6 children Lawrence Calip Jr. (Joycene Calip), Billie Jay Calip, Christopher Calip, Sonya Denise Calip (Roy V. Beard), Patrick Calip (Stephanie J. Calip), Samuel S. Calip. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Dorothy graduated from Flint Northern HighSchool in 1959 and received a degree from the Mott Community College.

Dorothy worked at Flint Board of Education as a School Crossing Guard and a dedicated School Bus Driver until he retired in 1985 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the The Church of God In Christ in 1957 - 2020. Dorothy was honored with the title of Respected Missionary, Devoted Church Mother and Pastor\'s Wife.
