Dorothy "Dori" Livy, age 58, passed away on Monday December 5, 2016 at her home. Dorothy was born on July 11, 1958 to Robert and Eleanor Douglass in Southfield, Michigan.Mrs. Livy was a nurse at the Oldham County Health Department and spent over 20 years in Public Health. She is preceded in death by both of her parents. Mrs. Livy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Daniel Livy; sons, Nick (Danielle) Livy of Cary, North Carolina and Mitchell (Eri) Livy of Dana Point, California; sisters, Lisa (Jose) Torres and Amy (Jerry) Grossman; brothers, Robert (Pat) Douglass and Mark (Linda) Douglass. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Schur Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will follow. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the .
