Dorothy DeanSHELBY: Dorothy Dean, age 95, resident of Shelby died, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.Dorothy was born on June 13, 1922 to Arthur and Margery (Cook) Milliron and she was a lifelong Tiro/Shelby resident. Dorothy was a graduate of Ontario High School and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed walking along the beach looking for seashells, doing crossword puzzles and getting the family together for meals that she baked. She also loved to travel, visiting over 30 states during her life. Dorothy is survived by son, Robert Jr. (Janet) Dean of New Washington; daughter, Dee (Mike) Mueller of Shelby; son, Thomas E. (Nancy) Dean of Lexington; grandchildren, Mike and Matt Dean, Jason Mueller, Jennifer, David, Nathan Dean, Thomas Dean Jr., Justin Dean, Todd Mueller and Shelley Rice; 14 great grandchildren and her cat "Double Dip Snowball Boomer" .In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Dean Sr. in November of 1988; son, Ronald Dean; granddaughter Catherine Dean and two sisters, Elsie Milliron and an infant sister, Thelma Milliron.Private funeral services will be held at a later date.The family would like to thank the Cambridge Caretenders, Stein Hospice in Sandusky, neighbors and churches that prayed for her, Med Central Hospital in Shelby and Mansfield, Dr. Tongson and staff and Dr. Sinha and staff.On line condolences may be made at www.barkdullfuneralhome.com.
