Vogras, age 86, of Fort Gratiot Township, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on February 6, 2017, peacefully in her home, with her family by her side.She was born on August 30, 1930, in Bruce Township to the late Russell and Gladys Reker.Doris was a 15-year employee at Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company and retired from Comerica Bank. In 2010 she moved to Blue Water Lodge and was very active in crafts. Doris was also the librarian, she loved calling bingo and doing puzzles.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia (Douglas) Murch of Marshall, son and daughter-in-law, Paul J. (Teresa) Burgess of Howell, daughter and son-in-law, Denise (James W.) Cole of St. Clair, daughter and son-in-law, Jacke (James) Kilmartin of Washington, son and daughter-in-law, Loren D. (Gail) Vogras of Westland, sister, Joyce Sanday of Portage, sister, Fern Paterson of DeBary, Florida, brother and sister-in-law, Clare (Nancy) Reker of Oscoda, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Norman C. Reker, son, Grant R. Burgess and granddaughter, Rita M. Storie.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
