With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Dora Thomas, who departed this world on December 2, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born on July 27, 1955.

Dora was a devoted wife to her husband Charles Wayne Thomas(Deceased) whom she married in the year 1996. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Michael Pinkston(Deceased) and Rodney Jones and a great niece she raised to be her own daughter, Nakeya Williams. Dora was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Tyreka Jones, Rodney Jones Jr., Skye Jones, Tamia Pinkston, Mia Jones, Leland Jones, Keyshawn Jones.

Dora was a valued member of the First Baptist Church organization, where she dedicated her time and talents to helping others. She had a passion for aerobics and could often be found dancing and exercising to stay active and healthy.

Despite her battle with breast cancer, Dora never lost her sense of humor and zest for life. She faced each day with courage and a smile, always putting the needs of her family first.

Dora will be remembered for her kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
