We are sad to announce the passing of Donna Thompson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and guidance counselor extraordinaire. Born on May 31, 1956, Donna lived a full and vibrant life until her peaceful passing on November 14, 2024, in Hollis, New York.

Donna was the loving daughter of William Jackson and Dorothy Smith-Jackson. She married the love of her life, Charles Thompson Jr, in 1980 and together they raised four wonderful children: Charles III, William, Antionette, and Victoria. Donna was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren.

Donna had a passion for helping others, which led her to a career in guidance counseling. She dedicated over 30 years to supporting and mentoring students at Andrew Jackson High School before retiring in 2018.

When she wasn't busy shaping young minds, Donna could often be found indulging in her favorite hobby of crocheting. Her handiwork brought warmth and comfort to countless friends and family members over the years.

Although Donna may no longer be with us, her spirit and sense of humor will always be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
