Donna L. JenksPeachtree City, GeorgiaDonna was born on April 23, 1925 in Middleton, MI, the daughter of Harley H. and Ruby Olive (Coffey) Greene, and passed away February 24, 2017 at the age of 91. She retired from G.M. in 1984 with 32 years of service. In addition to her normal duties at G.M., she spent close to 20 years serving at small concessions and dinners for her fellow workers on weekends and at retirement parties. Donna also worked at Walmart in Peachtree City, GA for the last 11 years as a greeter. She loved cruising around the town in her golf cart and even driving it to work. Donna enjoyed golf, bowling and woodworking and president of two different golf courses in North Carolina, also served on the advisory board of the Wilmington N.C. Municipal Golf Course has been past president from 1989- 2004. She was creator and host of Friday Lunch Bunch in Peachtree City, GA. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; Ruby Veazy (Coffey), step-father, Walter Veazy; siblings, Glenn Greene, Ilva Gibson, Viola Cowels, and Sandra Ledesma. Surviving to cherish her memory are her 6 daughters, Karen Hins, Lorrie (Bob) Peterson, Gwen (Kevin) Haney, Brenda (Arturo) Morales, Sandra (Reese Sommers) Jenks and Cristy Holley; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one on the way. Memorial services will be on Thursday March 2nd at Mason First Church of the Nazarene at 1pm with visitation one hour prior with Pastor Gerhard Weigelt officiating.
