Donald W. "Duck" Wildenberg1941 - 2016Donald "Duck" W. Wildenberg, 75, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House.He was born on March 13, 1941, in Stanley, Wis., to the late John and Rose (Sakach) Wildenberg. He moved to Kenosha in 1955 and was educated in local schools, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School.On Dec. 11, 1975, he married Louann VanZile.He was employed as a machine operator for over 30 years and retired from Anaconda American Brass. Following his retirement, he worked at the VFW as a maintenance man. Donald loved fishing, cooking, watching sports, playing basketball and softball, and rummaging around at flea markets in search of the perfect beer glass to add to his collection.Donald is survived by his wife, Louann of Kenosha; three children, Robert Wildenberg of Phoenix, Ariz., Donald Wildenberg of Kenosha, and Audrey Wildenberg of Lexington, Ky.; two step children, Debbie (Robert) Alderson and Robert Mecozzi, both of Kenosha; two brothers, Jack (Mary) Wildenberg, Peter (Leanne) Wildenberg, both of Kenosha; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Mecozzi.He was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Helen; and a sister, Margaret Dembiec.Donald's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Hospice Alliance for the special care they gave him.Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 7, from 4 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6 p.m. Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th Street Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit and Sign Donald's Online Memorial Bookwww.prokofuneralhome.com
