Blint, Sr., 79, of La Porte, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Golden Living Center.Donald was born on October 20, 1937 in La Porte, IN, to Ernest and Gladys (Tiarks) Blint. On September 28, 1963 in Rolling Prairie, he married Linda Lou Haverstock who preceded him in death. Also surviving are his beloved children, Jennifer (Kelly) Jones of La Porte, Donald (Crissy) Blint, Jr. of Rolling Prairie, and Debra Weisenberger of New Carlisle; 8 grandchildren, Lauryn, Austin, Alicia, Danielle, Clint, Tyler, Michaela and Kaylee; 2 great-grandchildren, Aria and Korbyn; and brother, James (Joyce) Blint.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Ernest Blint, Jr. and Gordan Blint.Donald was a retired mechanic and also a member of Pioneer Antique Auto Club. A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 and from 10 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11 am at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Pastor Monroe Jones Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lambs Chapel Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the family of Donald G.
