Donald A. DunnSYCAMORE: Donald A. Dunn, age 81 of 424 S. Pemberton Street, Sycamore, Ohio died at 12:15 A.M., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at home. He was born on March 10, 1935 in Whitehouse, Tennessee to Everett and Earline (Baird) Dunn. He married Betty (Volkmer) Dunn on May 19, 1962 and she died September 1, 2008. Surviving are the following children: Joyce Dunn and Ron Bloomfield, Bucyrus, Ohio, Donna Ratliff, Springboro, Ohio and Bonnie (Ron) Berry, Waterloo, Iowa. Also surviving are six grandchildren five great-grandchildren, one sister, Mamie Baldinger, Caledonia, Ohio and one brother, Robert (Lucille) Dunn, rural Bucyrus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Dunn, one brother, one sister, his wife and his parents.He was a self-employed building contractor and also retired as Superintendent with the Wyandot County Highway Department. He was a social member of the Sycamore American Legion Post # 250. For hobbies he loved to fish, hunt, ride his golf cart around Sycamore, loved to work in his woodworking shop, go bowling and go out in the country and watch deer. Funeral services for Donald will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
