Donald Thornton, born on April 11, 1952, in Panama City, Florida, United States, took his final breath on July 12, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

He was a devoted husband to Linda Thornton, whom he married in 1987, and a loving father to his four children: Christie Colby-Eason, Candice Hagerstrom, Jason Barr, Jesse Barr and his (adopted son) Timothy Goodwin. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Donald was a patriot who served his country in the Army/Army Reserve/Navy, and his bravery and dedication to his country were unwavering.

He had a passion for fishing, eating out, spending quality time with his family, repairing old guns, and riding in his son-in-law's canoe. These hobbies brought him great joy and fulfillment throughout his life.

Donald's untimely passing, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his impact on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
