We are saddened to announce the passing of Don Smith, who left us on September 15, 2010, at the age of 69 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Don was born on December 15, 1940, to Ray and Willie Mae Smith. A beloved husband, he married Dorothy Jackson-Smith in 1998, and together they raised five children: Veda, Vicki, Catica, Carolyn, and Michael.

Don was a doting father and a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren. He had a passion for life and always had a joke or a funny story to share with those around him. Don had a larger-than-life personality and made an impression on everyone he met.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing that Don is now reunited with his loved ones who passed before him. Rest in peace, Don Smith, your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
