Dolores Holloway, 84, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed on April 07, 2023. Dolores was born on January 26, 1939.

Dolores was born in 1939 and was the only child to the late Roberta Holloway. She was born in Anderson, SC. She spent her early years residing in Philadelphia, PA. She was a longtime resident of Staten Island, NY and Harrisburg, PA.

She retired from the former Willowbrook State School in Staten Island, NY after 35 years of service.

Dolores enjoyed being active in her community. Dolores was a member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Harrisburg, where she served as President of the Usher Board. She was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Staten Island and active in the church choir. Dolores was President and Treasurer at the Friendship Community Senior Center in Harrisburg. She was a member of the ELKS Lodge and served as a Grand-Daughter Ruler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Melvin Harrell, a son, Matthew Warren Harrell Sr, a sister-in-love, Hester Perry and a beloved step-grandson Gregory Redman, Jr.

Dolores was influenced by her family in love. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her uncle Andrew Holloway, two daughters: Valerie Wetzel of Dover, DE and Monalisa Johnson of Harrisburg, PA: two sons, Stefoni Harrell and his wife, Joi of Dover, DE and Woodrow Harrell and his wife, Tonya of NY, NY, in addition her bonus sons Michael and Brian Harrell. Dayfen Grant and Tracy Windley who she loved as her sons, sister-in-love, Mollie Harrell Allen-Moorer of Peekskill, NY, and grandchildren, Syria Michelle Harrell, Nikia Croaker (Lester), Tanika Rhodes, Sherard King, Daygique Charles (Jason), Matthew W. Harrell jr., Jillian Johnson, Dolores Harrell-Johnson, Mattilee Marie Harrell-Johnson, Melonie Harrell, Ella Burton as well as her beloved step-grandchildren Candyce Collier and Raquel Jennings (Marquinn). She will be missed by her 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces/nephew, cousins and close friends.
