Dolores Angela MassaroSan AngeloDolores Angela Massaro, age 82, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017, and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed away at Shannon Hospital. Dolores was born on Dec. 10, 1934, in Richmond, California and grew up in Rodeo, California.Dolores graduated from John Swett High School. She was born to parents, Jessie and Julian Dominguez who preceded her in death along with brothers Luis Robert and Edwardo Dominguez. She married Anthony (Tony) Massaro on March 2, 1957, and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband and three children; daughter, Toni and husband Tom Maurer of San Angelo; son Michael and wife Michelle Massaro of San Antonio; and daughter, Tina and husband David Jones of San Angelo, as well as her surviving brother Armando and wife Janet Dominguez of San Ramon, California; sister in law Claudia Dominguez of Rodeo, California; and several nieces and nephews. Dolores enjoyed being a loving wife, loving mother, and homemaker. Dolores had a loving and kind personality and was highly thought of by her close friends and had a witty sense of humor for all occasions with a great zeal for life. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Wood and the caring nurses on 6 West at Shannon hospital, Dr. Walter Hewell, Dr. Anthony DeMory, Dr. William Whitehead and his nurse Patty Park; also Dr. Milo Anderson at WTMA, retired Dr. David Harvey, and Encompass Home Health. The family would also like to thank Dialysis nurses Nancy Smith and Tammi Robison and the staff and technicians at the Shannon Dialysis Unit, St. Johns campus. Greenwell of Holy Angels Catholic Parish.A time of visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
