On April 14, 2024, Lexington, Kentucky and the world at large lost a beloved member of the community. Djuma Saidi passed away at the age of 47 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on June 11, 1976, Djuma was a loving spouse to Anastasia Saidi, whom he married in the year 20. Together, they raised 5 wonderful children: Anna, Ariana, Joshua, Tisha, and Asael.

Aside from being a dedicated partner and parent, Djuma had a passion for cooking and drawing. He enjoyed spending his time creating delicious meals for his family and expressing his creativity through art.

Djuma will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering strength in the face of adversity, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
