Diane TrebonikMANSFIELD: Diane Trebonik , Age 70 of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, at St. John Medical Center.She was born on August 8, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio to Emil and Agnes (nee Banacke) Ganobcik.Diane graduated from Admiral King High School in 1965 in Lorain, Ohio, where she then moved to Mansfield and lived for 45 years. During her working life, she acted as a wedding consultant and decorator. Following her retirement she worked as a gift shop associate with Carlisle Gifts in Bellville, Ohio. She was described as a strong, devoted Christian woman of great Faith.She took great pride in being a homeowner, cooking and baking, and was a devoted mother and loved and adored being "Nanny" to her 9 grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey, Jonathan (Stella) and Jennifer (Mike) Dover; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Alexander, Jessica, Thomas, Victoria, Anthony, Tiffany, and Jonathan Jr.; siblings, Elaine Rock, Janette Ganobsik, Rose Preisler, and Richard (Lynn) Ganobsek; many beloved nieces and nephews and their children; and many close friends who cared and prayed with her.She is preceded in death by her parents; Brothers; Eugene, Gregory, and Emil Ganobcik, and twin brother Dennis; sisters, Mary Lou Lynch, and Kathleen Ganobsik; grandson Nicholas Trebonik; and son by heart, Kevin Griffin.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral center followed by inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
