Devin Lenay Candelaria, 20, beloved mom, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend was called to her Heavenly home in the early hours of Sunday, July 27, 2014.She was born on Sept. 7, 1993, in Las Vegas to George Candelaria and Amy Espinoza-Candelaria.She is survived by her infant son, Brentley Kash Candelaria; parents, George and Amy Candelaria of Georgetown, Texas; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Helen Espinoza of Guadalupita; paternal grandmother, Viola Candelaria of Roswell, and grandfather, Rudy Candelaria (Irene) of Roswell; maternal great-grandfather, Abelino Espinoza; paternal great-grandparents, Celestino and Josefita Candelaria; maternal aunts, Jessica Espinoza (Hugo) of Guadalupita, Joan Donnelly (Mike) of Krum, Texas; uncle, Amos Espinoza (Ramona) of Cleveland; paternal aunt, Loretta Leyva (Luis) of Portales; and uncle, Phillip Candelaria (Lacy) of Las Cruces. Devin also leaves behind many close cousins, great uncles and aunts, and many, many friends. Devin touched the lives of so many people in the very short time she was with us.Rosary was prayed in celebration of Devin's life at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora. Mass of Christian Burial will also be held at noon today (Friday) at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, with Father Dennis Dolter, SOLT, as celebrant. Devin will be laid to her final rest in the Espinoza Family Cemetery in Guadalupita following the Mass of Christian burial. Serving as casket bearers will be: Kenneth Padilla, Anthony Gomez, Brian Padilla, Jett Smith, Jayde Smith and Brandon Salas."Fly with the Angels our beautiful sweet girl.
