Derick Okarski, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 24, 2024 in Wapato, Washington at the age of 55. He was born on May 1, 1969 to Eric and Mattie Okarski.

Derick married the love of his life, Norda, in the year 2000 and together they raised three wonderful children, Derick Jr, Amy, and Jill. He was also a proud grandfather to one grandchild.

Derick worked at Tesla and proudly served in the Navy as a Sargent in the 166th unit for 13 years. In his free time, he enjoyed building and flying model planes, a hobby that brought him much joy and relaxation.

Derick will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of life, and his dedication to his family and country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Derick. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
