Derek Bowen, a beloved member of the Cripple Creek community, passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on March 6, 1969, Derek was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit and a smile that never seemed to fade. He was a dedicated Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, husband, and friend. always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and brighten your spirits on a dark day. Derek had a passion for his family as well as everything revolving around fantasy. He spent his time painting beautiful Dungeons and Dragons figurines, and loved more than anything being with his grandson's. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Despite his absence, Derek's legacy of compassion, patience, and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
