DEREK MCCLAIN, 57, passed on January 26, 2022. He was born to the late Steven McClain and the late Sherril Glover in Manhattan, New York on April 21, 1964.

Together they raised 2 children Derek McClain (Janez McLaurin), Dominick McClain. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

DEREK worked as a custodian at Westhab for two years. He since then was employed at Macy's until his passing. Derek loved caring for people and working with those in mental health and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. He would give his last to those he loved. He loved spending time with his grandsons Adonis and A'kai and Josiah whom he shared with the world on Facebook.

Derek leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Jacqueline McClain of Harlem, New York, two sons, Derek McClain Jr. and Dominink McClain whom he loved very much. He left behind three sisters, Angela McClain, Michelle McClain and Lisa McClain. six nieces, five nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Everyone is going to miss him very much. His smile enlightened any room at any moment. Dererk McClain was loved by many and again, will be missed by all.
