Dennis Ward, 79, passed on November 11, 2020. He was born to Thomas and Nydia in Chicago (the White Sox side), Illinois on March 12, 1941.

Dennis graduated from Stambaugh High in 1959.

Sargent (E5) Ward served his country for 3 years as a Armor Crew Member in the Army.

He married Betty in 1963 in Iron River, Michigan. In 1979, they decided they were tired of shoveling snow and made the long haul to Tempe, Arizona. Together they raised 4 children Rick Ward, Dave Ward, Debbie Chambers, Ken Ward. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Tyler, Jeremy, Ricki, Kevin, Isabel, Stephanie, Tim and Taylor and 6 great grandchildren.

Dennis worked as an Aerospace Machinest until he retired in 2007.

He enjoyed his retirement playing golf, never knowing a stranger and spending time with family.
