He is servived by his Mother Sylvia Kernells and predeased by his father James C. Kernells Jr.  Also servived by two Sons Stephen of Clinton sc and Timmothy of Gray Court sc also two grandsons of Clinton sc  one Sister Ilaann Smith (Ricky) of Clinton sc one brother Jimmy Kernells of Easly sc   and special friends Brent Lancaster of Clinton sc and Dale Calvert of Mountville sc Memorial service will be held at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Mountville sc burial will follow at Rosemont Cematery in Clinton sc   Officiating Rev. Phil Bryson and Dale Calvert.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County sc.
