Delores Thompson Coburn, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born on Oct. 22, 1932, in Levan, Utah, to Erick Peterson and Anna Maria Christensen Thompson. She married to Seth Hill Coburn on Aug. 12, 1960, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.Delores loved to go for drives and look at the beautiful scenery. She also enjoyed canning, baking and sewing, and loved watching and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities, including a primary teacher, Relief Society teacher and a visiting teacher as well as helping in the scouting program. She helped her husband Seth on the farm. She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City and graduated as a secretary. She loved growing flowers and particularly roses. She is survived by her husband, Seth, of Downey, Idaho; her children DeMille Coburn, of Oxford; Chris (Darla) Coburn of Lewiston, Utah; Chad Coburn of Downey, Idaho; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Ilene (Vern) Pulsipher, of Sacramento, Calif.; Reva (Melvin) Whitelock, of Murray, Utah; and Nora Gilson, of Everett, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Lucille Rudy.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in the Clifton 2nd Ward LDS chapel with Bishop Clark Cox conducting. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East in Preston and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church in Clifton.
