We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Delores Hobson-Owens, a woman who lived her life with sass and style. Delores was born on April 1, 1940, fooling everyone into thinking she was a jokester from day one.

Delores spent her days in Markham, Illinois, charming everyone she met with her quick wit and infectious laughter. She had a love for life that was unmatched, always finding ways to turn even the most mundane tasks into an adventure.

Despite not having any children of her own, Delores was a beloved aunt, friend, and mentor to all who knew her. She had a way of making everyone feel like family, whether they wanted to or not.

Delores passed away on August 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love that will never be forgotten. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
