Debra (Debbie) Ann Miller, 72, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was born on March 1, 1952 to Mahlon and Mona Plowman in Austin, MN.
In 1977, Debbie married Edsel Miller, and together they raised five children: Robert (spouse Katie), Kathryn, Laura (spouse Adam), Emily, and Levi. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Riley and Peyton Miller, Fredrick, Violet, and Forrest Fagan.
Debbie attended Wasson High School in Colorado Springs, CO and graduated in 1970. She furthered her education at St. Paul Bible College in Waconia, MN, graduating in 1975 with a degree in Christian Education and served as a pastor's wife for over 30 years in Hawley, MN and then serving churches in Garvin and Tracy, MN. Later, Debbie then worked at Tracy Elementary School in many capacities eventually becoming the librarian, a job she loved because of her love for reading and children.
Debbie and Edsel moved to Colorado Springs in June of 2018, but her heart always remained in Tracy.
Debbie loved spending time with family and friends. She was a kid at heart and found joy in everything around her. Debbie's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy as was her marriage to Edsel. She radiated Jesus's love and was always eager to share her faith. She will be remembered for her kindness and infectious laugh.
Debbie is preceded in death by her mother, Mona Plowman, sister, Cindy Raines (Plowman), and her mother-in-law, Esther Kleinlein.
There will be a memorial service for Debbie at Tracy Alliance Church on March 15, 2025.

I knew Debbie from SPBC over 50 years ago. We reconnected on fb a few years ago. She was always so sweet and very humorous! And a great woman of God. She had so much faith ! A pleasure to be around . I was shocked to hear of her passing . (She was a person I thought WOUKD live forever! ) May God bless Edsel & the family as we look forward to seeing her in heaven soon! I was so saddened to read of Debbie's passing. She and I were great friends at St Paul Bible College and stayed in contact after we graduated. I know she prayed for me faithfully throughout my years of missionary service in Africa. I loved Debbie! She could always make me laugh! I'll not see her again on this earth, but know that we will share hugs and laughter once again in heaven. May our dear Lord comfort each of her loved ones while we await that joyous reunion.
