She was born on September 22, 1954 to Dale and Virginia McGuffin in St. Clair, Michigan.She married Walter Lee Woods, Sr., on August 24, 1991 in Faith Lutheran Church, he preceded her in death on December 25, 2016.Deborah was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, she loved to spend time with her family.She is survived by her children; Richard Volkening, II of Los Angeles, CA and Michele Volkening of Port Huron, step-children; Theresa (Larry) Skotzke of Fort Gratiot, Brenda (Terry) Wright of Kimball, Walter Lee Woods, Jr., of Port Huron, 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; five sisters; Ann Lashbrook, Kathy Burkhardt, Vicki Hall, Teri (Bob) McIntyre, Nancy (Tom) Friedsberg, four brothers; Pat McGuffin, Ron (Michele) McGuffin, Lee (Marlena) McGuffin, Joe McGuffin.  Preceded in death by her husband; Walter Woods, her parents; Dale and Virginia McGuffin, siblings; Jerry McGuffin, Tom McGuffin, Susan (Jack) Fuller, Donna (Dave) Stuben, Bonnie (Dennis) Schmidt, Mike McGuffin, Donald McGuffin, Becky (Mike) Babcock.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in Smith Family Funeral Home - North, 1525 Hancock Str.
