David Glenn Foster Obituary

Oct 25, 1961 - Nov 27, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

David Foster of Ranger, Texas formerly of Breckenridge,TX passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 63. He was born on October 25, 1961 at Parkland hospital, in Dallas, Tx to his parents Richard Harold Foster and Leatrice Golda McKay.

David is survived by his loving children: David, Cody Teisha and Richard. He was a proud grandparent to 10 grands and 5 great grands. He's is also survived by his ex wife and mother of his children Alice, who was there caring for him in his final year but was also his life long friend.

David worked at Texas Tank Trucks off and on for over 25 years and retired in 2013.But if you knew David, you knew he was a jack of all trades. There wasn't a trade he didn't pick up. From oil field jobs, to carpentry he could do it all , and if he couldn't figure out how to do a job he would do a fine job of making one think that he knew what he was doing. He also served in the Army Reserve/National Guard in his younger days. In his free time, David enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, and dominating everyone in farkle while enjoying a cold beer. And most of all spending time with his loved ones. Family meant everything to David.

David will be remembered for his sense of humor, his wild and free way of life and his river rat survival skills that he incorporated in to everyday life. But most of all his love for his family and his love for his children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, David Foster. You will always be in our hearts.

You can to the family or in memory of David Foster.
