David Brian Marsh, 65, of Crawfordville, passed away at home, Friday, May 5, 2017. He was born on April 30, 1952, in Crites, West VA. The family moved to Tallahassee in the early sixties. A fixture in the solar industry for decades, he was the longtime owner of Tallahassee Energy & Construction, LLC, until his retirement due to illness in 2013.David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anne, his mother Sylvia J. Marsh, his sister Christine Rabon (Charles), his brother, Douglas H. Marsh, Jr. (Debra) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Douglas H. Marsh, Sr. and his sisters Lethie Lanham and Carol Hart.David spent his life helping others. He tried to help his customers save money on their utility bills using solar as well as other technologies to make homes more energy-efficient. He also believed that alternative energy sources could help reduce the impact of energy usage on the planet.
