David A. Miller, Sr.AGE: 82 • BlackwoodDavid A. Miller, Sr., of Valleybrook in Blackwood, NJ, died peacefully on August 7, 2017, surrounded by his family. Dave was born on September 29, 1934 in Bloomfield, NJ to the late Rev. Charles Miller, Sr. and Lillian (nee Steinert) Miller. Dave graduated from Washington High School in Washington, NJ. He was a triple letterman in football, basketball and baseball. He was past officer and board member of the Valleybrook Homeowners Association. Dave married his wife and best friend Grace Mildred Fiore in 1954 and they would have celebrated their 63rd anniversary next week. Dave is also survived by his five children and their spouses, Dr. David and Kathy Miller of Wellington, FL, Scott and Barbara Miller, Esquire, of Pedricktown, NJ, Cynthia and Scot Williams of Voorhees, NJ, Rick and Jennifer Miller, Esquires, of Wallingford, PA and Dean and Jennifer Miller of Apex, NC, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ. A devoted grandfather, Dave's greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren, David, William and Christopher Miller, Nichole Pace, Justine Krougliak, Bryan Williams, Melissa Williams, Grant, Eleanor, Brett and Sean Miller and the late Scott Miller, Jr. and his great grandchildren, Maddox and Logan Pace. His siblings are Rev. Charles Miller, Jr., Marilyn Parry and the late Howard Miller. Dave also loved his dogs, Choo Choo and Chewey. There will be a visitation from 10am to 11:30am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Memorial Service 11:30am at the funeral home. Interment private. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charitable fund in memory of his grandson, The Scotty Fund, 152 N. Railroad Ave., Pedricktown, NJ 08067.
