We are gathered here to commemorate the extraordinary life of Davian Charles Hilson, who was born on September 14,1998, in Chicago Illinois, at Jackson Park Hospital. Davian tragically passed away on January 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Davian was the beloved child of Danny Hilson and Adrienne Baskin and “Lamont Minnis , and a loving Father to his three children, Dasiya Hilson, Davian Hilson Jr., and Dalaigha Hilson. He also leaves behind 5 beloved siblings: brother Daniel Hilson(nephews) Daylon Hilson, Lexdon Hilson, sister Danielle Hilson/Stephan Scott(nephews) Diamond Hilson, Dakari Hilson, sister De’Andrea Hilson(nieces) Aniyah Overstreet, A’leyah Hilson, brother Dana Hilson/Latrice Miller (Niece) Dhakiya Hilson, sister Nakyla Lando and Brothers Markeise Seymour/Candace Sturgis and James Taylor and cousin Tinyah Caffey. Also a host of childhood friends and acquaintances whom loved him dearly. He was a devoted father, son, friend, cousin and brother, always putting his family first. Davain was truly what one would call “The neighborhood hero.” Always willing to help even if it is his last.
Davian attended Hyde Park Career Academy high school where he excelled in his studies. Afterwards, he pursued a career as a well known Business Man/ Entrepreneur, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones.
Aside from his professional achievements, Davian was known for his kind and generous spirit. He had a passion for helping others in need, and his selflessness touched the lives of many.
Tragically, Davian's life was cut short by a senseless crime, leaving his friends and family devastated by the loss.
Though Davian may no longer be with us in physical form, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Davian.
