RAI, Darshan Singh Peacefully passed away on November 15, 2016, with family and friends by his side. Darshan was born on December 6, 1943 in Village Malak Jargon, India. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Surinder; sons, Gurmit (Raman) and Ravinder (Jaspreet); daughter, Polly (Pavittar); brothers, Roop Rai and Nick Rai (owners of JR Furniture) and Jagroop Rai; and many nieces, nephews and extended family in BC, Alberta, India and abroad. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Fraser River Funeral Home, 2061 Riverside Rd., Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Cancer Foundation will be appreciated.
