We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Daniel Hopper, who was born on August 26, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. He peacefully departed this world on September 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving wife and granddaughter.
Daniel was the beloved son of Grover and Dora Hopper. He was a loving partner to Dorlinda Hopper, with whom he shared countless memories and adventures. He not only shared memories with his loving wife but his grand daughter who may not be his blood but was loved so dearly and like a daughter.
Daniel was a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. He loved spending time with family, crossword puzzles and sharing his past experiences with others. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be missed forever. He was such a wise man who carried so much knowledge.
personal paragraph from the granddaughter whom he raised as his own; My grandpa was the wisest man I have ever met. He was so selfless and always did everything for everyone he loved, he lives in me everyday. There is not a day that goes by where I do not think of him he was comfort and safe space throughout everything. His blood children caused a terrible situation at the hospital which he was dying, that caused them to not have the privilege of being there when taking his last breath. He would have never allowed what was happening to his wife and grand daughter to happen if he was aware. May his children and other grandchildren find peace within themselves knowing we where there when he took his last breath he was not alone not even for a second I gave him his last sip of water and held on to him tightly he knew he was so loved. I will forever be greatful for him and providing me such a stable life. God knows I would do anything for him to be here again he was such a beautiful soul.
Tragically, Daniel lost his battle with COVID pneumonia, a disease that has taken far too many from us. We take solace in knowing that he is now at peace and free from suffering.
Rest in peace, Daniel. Your memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
