Daniel Sean KerseyAge: 51 • West Lebanon, NHD. Sean Kersey, 51, passed away at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on April 11, 1965 to Timothy and Judith (McKellick) Kersey. Sean was raised in Bethel, ME and graduated valedictorian of his class at Telstar High School. He continued his studies at Dartmouth, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1987 and his master's degree in Biochemical Engineering at Thayer School of Engineering in 1989. Sean's greatest pride was his family. He met his wife-to-be, Michelle (Roy), while attending Dartmouth, and they married in 1990. They moved to Vermont where Sean worked for IBM for thirteen years and they had their two children. They returned to the Upper Valley in 2003, where their home has always overflowed with laughter and joy. Sean was passionate about ministering to both high school and college students, discussing many topics, most often focused on God and faith. He could often be found in the garage working on automotive projects. He worked at Timken in Lebanon, and served on the board of the American Precision Museum until he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August, 2016.Sean is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, and two children, Matthew and Kirsten; his parents Timothy and Judith Kersey; two brothers, Tim, his wife Tracy and their children Noah and Ashley, and David and his children Jacob, Lucas, and Travis; and many friends.Family and friends are invited to Sean's life celebration followed by a reception at Wellspring Worship Center on April 8, 2017 at 1 pm.
