Daniel John HewittNovember 21st, 1968 – February 18, 2016It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel John Hewitt. Daniel was born on November 21st 1968 in Whitecourt, Alberta to Daniel and Alice Hewitt. He passed away on February 18, 2016 at the age of 47 in Red Deer, AB.Daniel leaves his beautiful daughter Cieanna Shaye Hewitt of Calgary, AB, his loving parents Daniel and Alice Hewitt of Penhold, AB, sister Dianna (Allan) Adams and nephews Braydn and Jordan Adams of Rocky Mountain House, AB; sister Keri Perez-Hewitt with nephew Ashton and niece Talina of Playa-Carmen, Mexico. Daniel is also survived by grandmothers Caroline Hewitt and Lorraine Carlson, both of Rocky Mountain House, AB; on the Hewitt side of the family, uncles: Robert (Sharon) Hewitt of Caroline, AB, Garry Hewitt of Innisfail, AB and Larry (Teri) Hewitt of Spruce Grove, AB; Aunts: Carol (Bob) Reay of Nelson, BC, Charlotte (Gordon) of Creston, BC and Sheila (Marvin) Trimble of Red Deer, AB. On the Winchester side: uncles: Johnny Winchester Jr., and Glen (Laurel-dean) Winchester of Sylvan Lake; Aunts: Cynthia (Rod) Berezy of Red Deer, AB and Nancy (Murray) McGeachy of Benalto, AB; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Daniel is predeceased by Grandfathers; George Hewitt, John Windchester Sr., and Glen Carlson; cousins: Robbie Wilson, Angela Menard-Wright and Aunt Kristyne Carlson. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home, Sylvan Lake AB, on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM or at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home, Rocky Mountain House, AB on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Life Celebration for Daniel will be held at The Church of the Nazarene, 5340 59th Ave, Rocky Mountain House, AB on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 1:00 PM.
