Damiya Ann was educated through the Madison Heights School System. She had many favorite subjects and enjoyed playing volleyball and dancing with a host of friends. Damiya accepted Christ into her life at an early age as a member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Detroit, MI. 

On October 24th 2017 Damiya was called home due to complications from smoke inhalation.

Damiya is survived by her parents, Curtis Harrell and Brittany Martin; grandparents, Shirley and John Mitchell; also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
