We are saddened to announce the passing of Dameria Barnes, who left us too soon on October 19, 2025, in her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama.

Born on December 8, 2005, Dameria brought light and laughter to all who knew her. She was a graduate of Grissom High School, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friendships.

Dameria was a dedicated volunteer at the Hands of God organization, where she selflessly helped those in need. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many in her community.

When she wasn't busy giving back, Dameria enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing video games, and making memories that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her loving parents, Darrel and Bridgett Barnes. While she had no children of her own, Dameria had a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.

Although Dameria's time with us was too short, her spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear. May her laughter and love continue to brighten our days.
