We are saddened to announce the passing of Damaris Mendiola on September 26, 2024, in Laredo, Texas. Born on August 20, 1950, to Benjamin Mendiola and Lourdes Salazar, Damaris led a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Damaris was a devoted mother to her five children: Rubén, Jasmine (married to Pedro Noyola), Elisa, Angelica (married to Ramón Perales), and Sebastián. She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Damaris had a zest for life that was infectious to everyone around her. She had a witty sense of humor and a smile that could light up a room. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, from hosting family gatherings to sharing her favorite recipes.

Despite the sadness that accompanies her passing, we choose to remember Damaris with fondness and joy. Her spirit will live on in the memories she created with each of us.

Rest in peace, Damaris Mendiola. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
