DALE K. TELLEFSON, 72 SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. - Much to the sorrow of family and friends Dale K. Tellefson, 72, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013, after a short illness at Agrace HospiceCare, with Joan and Steve by his side. He was born on August 13, 1940, in Ft. Atkinson, WI; the son of Willard and Hazel (Draeger) Tellefson. Dale graduated high school from Ft. Atkinson in 1958. He worked for Kayser Ford for 39 years and owned and operated his own D and S body shop. His passion was cars. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Dale is survived by his life partner, Joan Henke, and son, Steven (Jennifer Heiden) Tellefson of Freeport Ill; mother, Hazel of Whitewater; brother, Ronald (Eileen) Tellefson; sisters, Ronda (Lloyd) Christianson, Sheryl (Joe) Rudisi, Wendy Anderson; the family of Willard Rucks; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Hospital and Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care and support. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie.
