SGM Dale Edward Huseman U.S. Army (Ret.) - SAVANNAH - SGM Dale Edward Huseman, U.S. Army (Ret.), 85, of Savannah died Friday, November 18th, 2016 at Hospice Savannah. He was born on December 3, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, to Edgar and Mary Huseman. Dale served his country in the United States Army for 30 years including two tours of duty in Vietnam. He resided in many places throughout the United States and Europe and ultimately called Savannah his home. He earned several commendations and medals including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal. After retiring from the Army, he was the owner of Chair Caning By Dale offering the rare craft of chair caning and restoration. He was a lifelong Detroit Red Wings fan and loved the Georgia Bulldogs. Dale put everyone else's needs before his own and was described by everyone who ever met him as the world's sweetest man. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lois Ellen Domb Huseman. Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Miller and husband, Jeff; Gina Wynn and husband, Steve and Kimberly Tuttle and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jeffrey Miller and wife, Tiffany; Megan Miller, Mandy Miller and husband David and Hunter Tuttle; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Sydney Miller; brother, Ken Huseman; nephews Dave and Rick Huseman and special friend, Beverly Martin. Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 pm, Tuesday, November 22nd, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 22nd, at 12:00 pm, in the chapel of Baker-McCullough Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey - East, Wheaton Street, Savannah.
