Daksha Persaud, beloved resident of Washington, District of Columbia, passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on June 2, 1947, and was known for her infectious laughter and warm personality.

Daksha was a loving spouse to Bhaskar Persaud, whom she married in the year 19. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Kenshin Persaud and Shaan Persaud. Daksha was also a proud grandmother to three adoring grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her delicious home-cooked meals, her passion for traveling abroad, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Daksha's vibrant spirit brought joy to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Although her passing leaves a void in our hearts, we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace. Rest in peace, dear Daksha Persaud. We all love you and will hold you dearly in our hearts for your memory to be honored and never forgotten.
