We are saddened to announce the passing of Curtis Bass on May 7, 2024 in his hometown of Humble, Texas. Curtis was born on February 23, 1940 to his parents, Archie Bass and Bass. He was married to his loving wife Esther for 35 years and together they raised five wonderful children.

Curtis had a long and fulfilling career in construction before retiring in 30. He had a passion for hunting and could often be found in the great outdoors chasing after his next big trophy. His family and friends will always remember him for his sense of humor and his love for life.

Curtis leaves behind his children Ricky with spouse Elois, Reginald with spouse Rhonda, Angela, and Shalanda, as well as 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. While he may be gone, his legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humble Hunting Association in Curtis's memory. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be dearly missed.
