Courtney Knowles, 65, of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away on September 29, 2023 at Grady Memorial Hospital with family by her side. Courtney was born on September 18, 1958 in Winder Georgia. She leaves behind a loving and caring husband and father of 46 years Tony Knowles Sr. Her sister; Kitty Maple Black of Valdosta Georgia. Her brother; Jason Black of Griffin Georgia. Her brother; Johnny Black of Winder Georgia.Courtney was a loving mother of 4 children also. Two sons; Tony Knowles Jr. of Griffin Georgia and Robert Knowles of Williamson Georgia. Two daughters; Jessica Briarcliff Knowles of Barnesville Georgia and Rachel Johnson Knowles of Eatonton Georgia. Mrs. Courtney Knowles leaves behind 8 loving grandchildren; Emily,Candice, Joshua, Nicholas, Erica, Melissa, Jenny, and Eathon. Mrs. Courtney Knowles also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews and lots of friends. There will be a small private family gathering for services for Mrs Knowles at the Winder Church of God in Christ on October 3rd.
