We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of Cornelius Nkeanyi, a man who lived a long and colorful life in Bamenda, North-West, Cameroon. Born on January 15, 1940, Cornelius made quite an impression on those who were lucky enough to know him.
Cornelius was known for his sharp wit and his love of a good argument. He could debate just about anything, from politics to sports to the best way to cook a goat. His passion for discussion sometimes got him into trouble, but he never backed down from a challenge.
Despite his stubborn nature, Cornelius had a softer side. He adored his wife, Mama Grace Nkeanyi, and their two children, Julius Atabong Nkeanyi and Francisca N Atem. He was a devoted family man, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
Throughout his life, Cornelius wore many hats. He worked as a farmer, a teacher, and a community leader. He was a jack of all trades, always eager to try something new and learn from his experiences.
In his later years, Cornelius spent his days sitting on his porch, watching the world go by. He loved to tell stories to anyone who would listen, regaling them with tales of his youth and his many adventures.
Now, as we say goodbye to Cornelius, we remember him as a man who lived life to the fullest, never afraid to speak his mind or follow his heart. Though he may be gone, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
