Cordero Torres, beloved husband, father, and friend, bid farewell to the world on September 3, 2023, at the age of 73. Born on December 14, 1949, in Wilmington (Delaware), Delaware, Cordero brought endless joy and laughter to those around him.
Cordero, affectionately known as "Corny" by his close friends, was the ultimate prankster. His mischievous spirit and quick wit brightened even the dullest moments. With his contagious laughter and impeccable comedic timing, he was always ready to turn a frown upside down.
Despite his playful nature, Cordero was also a devoted family man. He married the love of his life, Esperanza Collazo, in the delightful year 23. Together, they raised a beautiful brood of three children: Jessica Torres, Sylvia Torres, and the one and only Junie Torres. Cordero cherished his family beyond measure and was known to embarrass them with his hilarious and often inappropriate jokes at family gatherings.
Cordero inherited his love for laughter from his parents, Francisco Torres and Alba Rodriguez. They were the true originators of puns and silly wordplay. It is no wonder Cordero grew up to become a master of the comedic arts.
Unfortunately, Cancer got to experience Cordero's humorous side too soon, taking him away from us on that fateful day. Even in his final moments, he managed to crack a few jokes to lighten the mood. While we mourn the loss of Cordero, it's important to remember his infectious laughter and the warm memories he left us with.
In loving memory of Cordero, let us all cherish the laughter he brought to our lives. His pranks, jokes, and funny faces will be forever etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend, and may you continue to spread laughter wherever your spirit may roam.
