Clive LottJune 7, 1923 - May 11, 2013Norman "Clive" Lott, 89, Blackfoot resident, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Portneuf Medical Center.Clive was born on June 7, 1923 in Mohrland, Utah, to Ira Fred Lott and Jennie Olive Norwood. He was in the Army Air Corp. from 1942-1947. Clive was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the
VFW, the American Legion, and the Blackfoot Senior Citizens Center.On January 17, 1959, he married Bonnie Jane Swainston-Maloy in Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Blackfoot, Idaho.He worked as a salesman, carpenter, superintendent of construction, a Blackfoot City
Police Officer and was especially proud to be a State Policeman. Clive lived most of his life in Riverside and Blackfoot.Clive loved bowling, fishing, the outdoors, boating, riding snow machines, woodworking, going to Jackpot with his wife Bonnie, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons; Allen (Alanna) Lott, of Washington, Pennsylvania, Clive "Lucky" (Darlene) Lott Jr., of Kauai, Hawaii; four daughters, Vicki (Gary) Smith, of Pocatello, Idaho, Teri (Denny) DuGal, of Modesto, Calif., Michelle (Rick) Morgan, of Blackfoot, Idaho, Cheryl (Dean) DenHartog, of Pocatello, Idaho; brothers Hugh (Frances) Lott, of Blackfoot, Idaho, Fred (Betty) Lott, of Roseburg, Oregon, sister; LaJuan (Chuck) Wershey, of Vancouver, Washington; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.He is proceeded in death by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Jane Lott, a son, Kelly Lott, his parents, brothers; Jack Lott and Frank Lott, sisters; Rita Sandau and Grace Bishop.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. Blackfoot, Idaho. Family will meet will friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, and again for one hour prior to services at the funeral home Thursday. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.The Lott family would like to extend a special "thank you" and gratitude to the Idaho State Veterans' Home and Debbie Harmon of the Veterans Advocacy Outpatient Services.
