Clinton Eubanks, Jr.Funeral service for Mr. Clinton W. Eubanks, Jr., 81, of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Harper and Sheriff Kenneth Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Cemetery, all under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.Mr. Eubanks was born on February 11, 1935 to the union of Clinton W. Eubanks, Sr. and Bertha E. Goodwin Eubanks in Fort Necessity, LA, and passed away on January 7, 2017 in Winnsboro, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Danny Eubanks; brothers, Marion Deshay Eubanks, Elvin Eubanks, Loyd Eubanks, Edgar Eubanks, Elton Eubanks, and Henry Eubanks; sisters, Edna Jean Carroll and Florine Potter.After serving 24 years as a Marine, Mr. Eubanks retired as Master Sergeant E8 and went on to work for the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and retiring after 20 years as a Lieutenant. He loved to tell tall tales, fishing and gardening, and his two special grandchildren. He would always say 'his grandchildren did not add years to his life but added life to his years.' Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 58 years, Earnie Albritton Eubanks; sons, Randy Eubanks and Brian Eubanks (Christy); grandchildren, Kyle Eubanks and Adam Eubanks; brothers, Kenneth Eubanks (Ann), Charles Ray Eubanks (Shirley), Joseph Eubanks (Sue), Tim Eubanks (Bobbie), Gary Eubanks (Linda), Jimmy Eubanks (Jo Ann); and sister, Louise Parrott.Pallbearers will be The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Game Wardens.Honorary Pallbearers will be the Jena Honor Guard, Eugene Parker, Sheriff Kevin Cobb, Sheriff Kenneth Hedrick, and LA State Representative Steve Pylant.
