We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Classie Ward, who was born on March 7, 1942, in Mobile, Alabama, United States. She peacefully left this world on August 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Classie was the beloved daughter of William and Idell Clark. In 1967, she married the love of her life, James Ward, and together they raised four children: Carmen Nehem, Melvin Ward, Rebecca Mccullum, and Leslie Golden. She was a dedicated and devoted mother who always put her family first.

Aside from her immediate family, Classie also leaves behind six grandchildren who brought her immense joy throughout her life.

Classie Ward attended Murphy High School and later dedicated her time and efforts to helping others as a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of America organization. She had a passion for giving back to her community and making a positive impact on the lives of those around her.

In her free time, Classie enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, attending symphony performances, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Classie Ward will be remembered for her unwavering love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. She has left behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
