TURNER, Sr., Clarence William "Bill" 66, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born on January 3, 1950, in Lathem, Ohio, the son of Warden Alfred and Martha Helen (Havens) Turner. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Margaret Marie (Lambert) Turner; his father, Warden Turner; children and their spouses, Clarence William "Billy" (Melissa)Turner Jr. , Kristina Elizabeth (Jack) Hood and Angela Marie (David) Domanek; grandchildren, Katilyn Rose, Kristi Turner, Kaylee Turner, Melinda (John) Rolfes, Kayla Gasper, Brittney Turner, Austin Domanek and Jack Domanek; great granddaughter, Haven Marie Rolfes; siblings, Jerry (Diane) Turner and John (Sue) Turner; brother and sisters-in-law, Linda (Phil) Burton, Ted Huffman, Vernon (Dawn) Lambert; and many other extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Turner; grandparents, Clarence and Nannie (Hankins) Turner and William and Cynthia (Blackburn) Havens; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Rose Turner, Floyd Lambert, Leroy Lambert, Emma Jane Huffman. Bill graduated from Western High School in Lathem, Ohio and later retired from Cascade Corporation where he worked in Welding and Fabrication. He loved sitting on the porch and just watching the cars go by and sometimes catching a nap, gardening, listening to bluegrass music, playing cards, and fishing but most of all, loved his family. Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 5-8p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER, Springfield with service given by Jay Yeager of Vale Rd. Church of Christ on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 12p.m. Additional viewing will be on Friday one hour before service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
