RACINE - Age 65, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospitol in Milwaukee, WI surrounded by her family. She was born on October 17, 1949 to the union of Eli and Clara (nee:Bryant) Prince in Greensboro, Alabama. Clara graduated from Washington Park High School in 1966 and continued her education at MATC in Milwaukee, Wi. She was employed by St. Lukes Hospital and Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine, WI, as a phlebotomist for 39 years. Clara loved her family and friends. She loved socializing, needlepoint, cooking, and traveling. Ms. D. always made a point of looking good when she stepped out. Clara accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was a member of Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church where she served as a faithful servant of the Lord for many years until her health began to fail. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Clara L. Diggins; two brothers, Leon (Evelyn) Prince of Racine, WI; Michael Prince of Cleveland, OH; five sisters, Deborah Bryant, Aundra Prince of Racine, WI, Evelyn Blakemore of Ford Heights, IL, Pamela and Patrice Prince of Cleveland, OH; two aunts, Corrine Chavers of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Mable Bryant of Chicago, IL; three nephews, Leon Prince Jr., Corey Prince, and Ramone Stubbfields; one great nephew Leon Prince III; two godchildren, Donovan Williams and Javonna McWhorter, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, devoted cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by Mattie Bryant, Cleon Prince, Eli Prince, Ivory Diggins, Tiffany Prince, and Gerod Prince. The homecoming celebration will be held at Greater Mt. Eagle Church on Saturday, November 29, 2014 with Pastor Keith T. Evans offciating. Visitation at 9;00 a.m., service at 10:00 a.m.. Burial at West Lawn Memorial Park on Monday, December 1, 2014.
