Clara Aurora Joaquin, beloved mother of Brígida Mercedes Nuñez, Amable Nuñez, Aida Z Roldan, Clara J Freeman, Baciano Ureña, Juana Ivelise Ureña, Joaquin Ureña, Osnaldo Ureña, and grandmother of 23 and great grandmother to many, Clara was preceded by her daughter C’Asia M Freeman and Grandson Francisco Jose Nuñez. Clara passed away on April 18, 2025, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at the age of 101.

Clara was born on August 12, 1923, and lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by her loving family.

She will always be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and delicious cooking. Clara had a passion for gardening, cooking, and spending time with her neighbors and friends.

She was known for her incredible strength and resilience, facing life's challenges with grace and a positive attitude. Clara's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

While we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Clara is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
